Candy on Wood

This was a project from my CE Drawing class, in which we took photos of candy and then recreated it on a wood board. I used prismacolor pencils to make it look as realistic as I could manage.

we started with a bag of candy, bought by the teacher. We spread it out across a table and took photos using our phones. we then placed a grid on top and sketched the basic shapes on a matching grid. Then we transferred the sketch to the wooden boards using trace paper. It was completed after about 3 weeks, with a total of about 15 hours spent on it.
