Goddess of the Forest Composite

this is a composite of several photos that I edited together in photoshop. The Model in the center is me, with a photo taken by my friend Lyv. The rest of the photos were taken from copyright-free photo sites like pixabay.

This was created as an assignment in my graphic design course at the Catalyst center, teaching us more complex photoshop. I chose to create a fantastical composite because I thought it would be much more interesting. I am a big fan of nature, and I decided that a goddess of the forest sounded neat. I couldn't find any good photos of the pose I wanted so I decided to use myself.

to create this, I took some photos of myself and some objects of mine [the skull] then gathered good images from sites like pixabay. I first edited myself, removing the background and adjusting colors to make it look warmer. Then I edited the chair, removing the seat I sat on in the photo and replacing it with a throne. I added the skull and then worked on details like the background and shading. I finished it off with some more adjustment layers to tie the whole thing together and submitted it.
